Wicked

When: last saturday, 28 january.

Where: marina bay sands grand theatre, singapore.

Went with: the lifetime partner.

Duration: the show started at 1.30pm sharp and finished at 4.30pm, including 15 minutes intermission between chapters.

Cast: broadway, but casts are majority are from australia. Quite a turn-off for the partner though, as he was hoping that the cast would be as original as the u.s. broadway one, with idina menzel specifically.

Wicked in a sentence: a prequel from the 1939's wizard of oz, so no dorothy here yet.

The love: superb performance from the casts, magnificent costumes, cutting-edge set. Worth every penny.

The not-love: my seat. But this is my problem: i can only afford the sgd98 seat. Bummer. And oh, merchandise are freaking expensive, too. It costs me sgd20 for the program ONLY, so go figure.

Verdict: you, yes, you should go and see!
