hijacked

partnerboi got nothing to do at his office, was superbored, and decided to hijack my blog!

we bought a CD the other day, and this is his review:

TWENTY FIRSTNIGHT

Yah , sama ajalah.
Pesen yang mau disampein di tiap tracknya : “Yeah, we’re cool allright with the little hip to the hop and you don’t stop “ persis seperti lagu andalan mereka di track 2 yang berjudul “Tergila”, setelah track pertamanya yang gak gitu jelas konsepnya – sebagai pembuka.

so waddaya say, pretty sharp, eh? a bit Rolling Stone-ish here and there, but still, i think if he ever writes it for mass consumption, he'll get sack by his boss straightaway hiehiehe.

whilst to my own opinion, this band is an OK-band. their records is not the type that i regret of buying, but definitely not the type that i'll be listening over and over again everyday for quite of period of time. :)

MOS burger review

karena cream corn soup-nya, sungguh gak enak. asli, enakan campbell's CANNED food atau knorr's deh. asli. ini corn soup gadungan, tanpa ada potongan jagung satupun. partnerboi said he might as well just use straw and sip it. giling.
gw pun masih tetep usaha (namanya juga first timer),
"apa dong mba rekomendasinya?"
"hmm biasanya sih YAKINIKU BURGER RICE, mbak", balas si mbak.
"LAH KATANYA ABIS MBAAK?", mulai nyolot.
"iya...", tanpa berusaha merekomendasikan makanan apa2.
gubrak.

huhuhu sebel banget akhirnya gw cuma order teriyaki burger. yang rasanya duhh sungguh nanggung sana sini. macam lo makan ayam teriyaki trus lo pakein roti doang. asli, roti dan ayamnya sungguh sungguh sungguh gak blending. mana gak ngenyangin pulak. udahlah gw orangnya sungguh maruk gini kan, sebellah gua.

... yang mana partnerboi langsung menawarkan antidotenya:
"bik, tanggung nih. lets finish off the meal with sushi tei?"
langsung gw jawab dengan manis gembira,
"HYUUUKKK!"

so there we were, having one of our cheapest bills at sushi tei. if only mbak2nya tau kalo kita baru aja makan MOS burger, pasti doi gak jadi terkesima deh akan sedikit (dan sehatnya) menu makan malem kita.

hihihi =)

mijung is dead

oh mamiii, i just got out from an express meeting with the boss.

dikasih tau FEW projects which will be running in 2009. and by few he means EIGHT (sementara, nyet) projects, which are closely intertwined one and another.

good news is (so he says): ini project masing2 bakal ada PICnya. dan karena ada beberapa yang ongoing dan kebanyakan dipegang sama mijung, jadi ada beberapa yang di handover ke PIC lain.

good news, thank you.

bad news is, the words are super big:
- increase # sales force
- create new sales channel
- recruitment process
- performance management (target, tracking, KPI)
- career development
- training & development
- MIS and its supports
- sales incentives

worse news is, the boss kinda forget the tight deadline. the big boss asks the first draft of all these concepts ARE TO BE SUBMITTED by THIS wednesday! this. fuckin. wednesday. gregorian calendar-wise, 2 not-so-solid-days from now.

WORST, have u noted the red and bold fonts in some areas?? yes, THOSE ARE MY PROJECTS.

ooowhh inaaang, i might as well just vanish from this worlddd!

=(

super random

happy new year, all. hope this is not all that late, rite? hope you all had a blast on NYE, and i also wish you all a very good life ahead (me is included, of course ;P).

i used to loove this ambiance at work during xmas- new year holiday. there seemed nothing more you can ask cuz it was so nice. workload had lessen to its minimum level, and all the dearest colleagues (most of them are my friends anyway) were deliberately not taking their leaves (kapan lagi nek, leha2 gak ada boss hihi), therefore we could do this and that, during office hours. sumtin that is impossible to happen during normal times. (we even once watched 'Friends' DVD at this meeting room lols =P).

but the best i love about xmas-new year holiday at the office was the potluck party. we formed few groups of 4-5 people, and each group had to bring some food, as discussed beforehand. so yeah, it was so fun seeing all these people bring huge portion of food, including rice cooker (!!), humungous bowl filled with mocktail syrup, and other food. the event is simple, nothing really fancy about that, yet i love it. i love its simplicity, and it brings us together. cheesy, i know.

but comparing that event to this year's quite big celebration, it feels totally different. i dunno, i guess its kinda related to the growth of my division. its just so different, having have seen this organisation has grown so big for the past one year. i remember i was the 35th members of the division. you know how many people are now here in this division? 120. ish. just imagine the changes ive been experiencing and the problems i encountered (and solved, thank you) in this year.

few friends has gone (lulus dari perusahaan ini, so they say) and moved some ladders, some became a very good housewife, some pursued their new path as entrepeneur, but i'm still here.

and me, i just want my potluck party back, with my closest friends called colleagues. please?
